Manufacturing Engineer

Variety includes design, prototyping, testing and qualification of manufacturing processes and process equipment to support our current and future lines of industrial controls, sensors, and switches.
To excel in this position you must have a passion for continual improvement of the manufacturing process(s) and equipment, live for creative solutions and have proven capabilities of applied problem solving.
Requirements: BSME or BSEE or Manufacturing Engineering Technology degree and 5+ years of relevant product/process experience. CAD design skills are preferred (2D, 3D, solid modeling). A good understanding of statistical process control and implementation for continuous improvement is required. Experience in an ISO9000 environment and lean manufacturing, strong problem solving skills, team player attitude and communication skills are required. PLC programming for process control is desired.

Production Associates Needed!
Join our fun and friendly work team!
Index Sensors & Controls is accepting applications for Production Associate positions to join our friendly work team. Our production teams perform a variety of small parts assembly and testing operations in a clean, pleasant work environment, and enjoy a 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday). Full- or part-time positions available to meet your work-life goals. Temporary status to start with potential to become a regular hire with benefits.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED certificate, clear spoken and written English, basic math skills, good close-up vision, quick manual dexterity handling small parts, ability to stand and move for long periods of time, and desire to learn new things. Must be a team player and able to get along well with others. Previous manufacturing experience preferred, though not required.
Temp to start. Pay starts at $10.50 per hour. Potential for “regular” hire and benefits after an evaluation period.
